We should encourage to use computer(Positive effects of computer)
Do you have a computer? or Do you like computer? Most of people would have and use computer. Do you agree that computer is a good thing? My argument is that we should encourage to use computer. I will say computer’s effects of positive and negative. As you know, computer is a dual-aspect thing. It could be useful but also it could harmful. It depends on state of user. But I will also say that how to make computer as a good thing. Today, Computers and the Internet have touched almost all aspects of life. Because, computer make people do their work very comfortably. Also we can make some friends through chat with other and play a game. It is an entertain tool. It has enormous advantages. However, some people say that computer is useful but it can cause negative effects such as addiction. Yes, a computer can cause a serious problem if someone use it excessively. But, if we think carefully, we can find lots of positive effects of computer. Yes, computer makes some problem. It can cause addiction or some violent behavior because there are some violent and lewd things in cyberspace. But I think positive effects are more than negative effects and we can eliminate the negative effects of a computer. I will teach the methods a bit later. I assert that we should not neglect to use a computer but encourage. And to eliminate some problems, we should learn how to avoid some negative effects. I will explain about this.
Actually, All people know that a computer is very crucial. My thesis statement is that we should encourage to use a computer and remove negative effects. Actually, All people know that a computer is one of the most important tools in human society and it has lots of effects. Today, most of the people have their computers and we could find it in anywhere. It is a very common tool today. But we can deny that it has been one of the most important tool for human. It is good at calculating and data retrieval and etc. Computer has been evolving our technologies and societies. And today, it was a common tool, any people can take its advantages. But, it is not just a good thing. Because of popularizing, it took negative effects too. It makes people addicted and some people could suffer from cyber violence. Because of these, some people say that computer is a bad thing and we should regulate to use it. But, Computer has positive effects more that negative effects. As you know that we can do our work easier, send an e-mail, play games, chat with friends and make some friends. Also, I think that it is so harsh to regulate a use it and people have the ability to solve these problems. And I found a book that has a similar topic with my essay. It is ‘Internet policies and laws in 21century’ It has contents that problem of a computer and solution to solve them.
Through my essay, People could recognize that computer has lots of positive effects and a possibility to remove negative effects. People will use a computer in more effective and more practical way. And people will not suffer from some of the negative effects such as addiction of cyber violence. In my essay, internet means global computer network providing a variety of information and communication facilities, consisting of interconnected networks using standardized communication protocols. Effects of computer mean positive and negative effects that were made by computer. I will accent the positive effects of computer and make solutions remove some negative effects. And negative effects in my essay, there are addiction and cyber violence. Addiction is an internet addiction which is occurred by games or chats. Cyber violence is a crime that is happened on cyberspace. Some people could suffer from internet messenger or hacking. I will suggest solutions to solve these and finally I will argue that people should encourage computer and use it in a good way.
I think people should encourage to use a computer and we can remove negative effects of computer. First, I will say about positive and negative effects of computer. Since a computer appeared, human evolved rapidly. And today, we can take lots of advantages of computer. It makes communication faster and easier. We can send an e-mail or chat with friends everywhere and every time if we have computer. So we can share some information, talk with friends and make some friends. And it makes researching things a lot faster and cheaper. For example. Instead of going to your doctor and paying a ton of money for a doctor's visit, you may be able to self-diagnose yourself with information found online. We can also search lots of another things such as job, people, flights... Actually we can find everything on internet. And it is good at calculating and data arrangement. So we can do our works more comfortable. It was the reason that human could be evolved rapidly. Also there are lots of interesting things on cyberspace. We can play games and watch movies or web toon. When we are boring, it can make us exciting. If we use it adequately, it could be a leisure activity. Computer gives lots of advantages and it has been good to people. Computer was a trigger to human evolving and today, I think we can't live well without computer. Computer is a part of our life and very useful tool.
On the other hand, computer has negative effects too. In our body, computer could damage our eyes and cut into much-needed sleep time. Also if some people use computer excessively, he or she could be addicted. It is one of the most dangerous problem. Some people who are internet-addicted could be an outsider from society.
They could think that cyberspace is more comfortable and stable that real world. So they could not try to touch with real world. Also they can't do their work rightly. Because of computer, they can sleep lately, and it can damage to their day life. And another big problem is cyber violence.
In cyberspace, most of people is anonymous. They use the internet without their real name and information. So, some people use this advantage badly. They attack some people and hack others computer. For example, in Korea, woman who was an actress was committed suicide because of evil comments. She was suffered from cyber violence and took a bad choice finally. And another example, a group that name was 'anonymous' hacked the North Korea government’s homepage. Because of this, relationship between north and south korea was degraded. Like these, computer has lots some problems too. But we can remove these problems.
I think that negative effects are not more than positive effects. Still computer is one of the most important and useful tools and has enormous advantages. And if we take more care for computer, we could solve most of problems. I will say about solution to solve some problems. To protect computer addiction, we should make some rules and follow it. For example, people should not turn on the computer without precise purpose. And we can get some help from family. If you can't control yourself, family's advice could be efficient. Also time control software is one of the methods to protect computer addiction. It announces that how many times you use to computer and over the set time it makes a computer turned off. And in family, school, some institutions should educate their member. They should teach their member about danger of computer and how to prevent internet addiction. If you think that you already addicted, you could go to a center of internet addiction and treat it. We can use a computer without addiction if we take more care and try to remove it. And To solve cyber violence, we need not only personal effort but also government's effort to remove it. First, government educate people about riskiness of cyber violence, sickness of victim and how to remove it. And real-name policy is one of the methods to remove cyber violence. I said, user of computer is anonymous and some people use this feature badly. So real-name policy will be efficient to reduce bad comments or abuses. Also people's think should be changed. Some people think that their comments will not harmful to others and bad comments are just kidding. It is definitely untrue. People should consider others situation and not think only for their interests. Most of problems, we can solve them through people and government's efforts. We should change our think and try to understand other situation and we can remove most of negative effects of computer. We have the power to solve all problem. As I say, we can fix computer’s problem and computer has more positive effects.
Some people could say that people are easy to addict and it is hard to solve it. But I don't think so. Yes, people could be addicted, but people have the ability to escape. If some people who are addicted have a will to escape and try to it, I'm sure that they could solve the problem. Also some people could say that computer has lots of negative effects. Yes, it is true. But, I said it has more positive effects than negative effects. Computer has enormous positive effects. So we evolved rapidly trough computer and today do our works more comfortable and easier. I think that computer is very useful tool and people can make it more efficient and useful and if people have a will, they could not addict and if they already addicted, they could escape from this. And To strengthen my argument, I will say more advantages. Today, e-commerce become an important of life. We do not have to move. We just click something on homepage. Then we can receive what I want. Also we can study through e-learning. We can watch lots of lesson at home. It is cheaper than academy and more convenient. And one of the most useful advantage is that computer integrate all over the Earth. One person who live in Korea can communicate with another person who live in America. People from each country can send an e-mail and share information each other. Because of computer, people’s life radius is larger that before and deal with their works more quickly. So it is ridiculous that computer is harmful and make people idiot. Computer is one of the best invention to human.
In conclusion, we can't deny that computer is an astonished invention. It makes people evolved rapidly and make our works easier and comfortable. It has both of negative and positive effects. But computer has more positive effects than negative effects. Also If people have a wiil to remove the negative effects, people can do it. Because people have the ability to solve some problems. So I assert that computer is very magnificent and useful tool and we should reject to use a computer. We should encourage to use it.
